We want to strengthen the human spirit of adventure and invention in future generations and offer them a job to realize their dreams. Since our partners and customers play a significant role in the success of our company, we focus on long-term partner and customer relationships. We want to show new customers what is possible.
In June 1986 the Konstruktionsbüro Hein started in a specially rented attic with very beautiful stained glass windows in the Auetal and a collection of used furniture. However, this was anything but easy at first. The first customers had already confirmed orders. Unfortunately, most of these orders were withdrawn. So I quickly faced problems with my concept. At the same time, however, many institutions were looking for lecturers in mathematics, physics, CNC and CAD. In this way the finances could be adjusted in the short term. At times, the area of training led to our own training centre, which is still part of our service offer today.
But the Konstruktionsbüro itself did not really want to get up and running. Thus I offered in December 1986 to all inquiries with tool constructions (at that time still at the drawing board) with the same delivery date shortly after New Year 1987. I did not believe in ordering at that moment. However, contrary to all my expectations, so many orders came in that I could not manage the effort on my own. My father, who had retired shortly before as a construction engineer at Telefunken, offered me his help. This enabled me to deliver all orders on time. Today, in 2020, the name Hein often appears in our team: with Heidemarie Hein for accounting, Alexander Hein as CEO, Christoph Hein for construction and Samir Hein for marketing.
Cross-company partnerships will remain a key to success in the future. The resulting higher level of expertise means that projects with different focal points can also be better implemented. The professional exchange for continuous performance improvement is in the foreground.
